You've gotta click the gray link above this sentence to see the entire deck of unique playing cards designed by local artists. The artists' were hand picked to showcase the diverse voices that make up the DC Metro art scene. We were invited to create an original work of art for this interactive show. WWII Monument was my inspiration for the card. All three images were created atop of the Washington Post w/ acrylic, pastel and charcoal.
Now click the gray link at the top of the page and see the image that was chosen. There is some buzz of a group show wherein the original works will be on exhibit at the Touchstone Gallery in June/July 2011, but this is still unconfirmed. It would be really cool and I am optimistic.
